Expired I.D. cards will NOT be accepted.
A signer will need two credible witnesses. These witnesses cannot be named in the document and cannot have a financial interest in the document.
Credible witness must have a valid I.D.
If a signer is unable to appear at the signing, a subsricing witness can watch the signer sign or hear the signer acknowledge that they signed the document.
Credible witness mut be present with a valid I.D.
A signer cannot use a subscribing witness for any document requiring a thumbprint in the notary public journall.
The most common notarizatons are Acknowledgements and Jurats. If you are not certain, please ask the issuer of the document for this information.
